You never lose, You always win

Us humans have this mindset that says we have to win in everything. Maybe it's because it makes us feel powerful and proud. The thing is, when we get used to winning and one day we lose, we end up feeling disappointed in ourselves. You might say, “well that is life I guess”, but I say “there is always space to change your mindset and live a better and happier life”. I would say that you never lose, in a way you always win, even if it wasn't exactly what you wanted, you at least won something. For example, you are in bet with your friend about the color of the danish flag, they say it's red and white and you say it's blue and white. Maybe you lost, but at least you learned the real colours of the danish flag, as they say “you learn something everyday”.
This applies to pretty much everything, simple board games, debates, businesses, money, you just have to look closely to see what you won, and become proud of what you achieved (even if it’s that addicting game on your phone, hahahaha kidding). Winning is when you work hard and never stop trying and trying, those who only try once and give up after failing, are the ones who really lose, because even after trying multiple times and still failing, you became stronger and wiser on the road. So next time you want to quit because you lost, don't, think of what you won, say something funny or ironic like, "you won't win next time!" And give them a smirk, they will laugh and accept the challenge to play again. When it's something more serious like competitions, you will earn people’s respect if you act in a good way, even if you have lost. It’s not easy, I know, but look at it this way and maybe you will also earn some good memories, that in the future will make you smile.
You will learn that you need to step up your game, pay attention to why they won and learn from them, you will learn that you have to train harder so you can win next time. Learn and look for other techinques, if the first one failed don't use it again. With this you will feel better with yourself, not only will you seem mature, you will be happier. Don't waste your time with a pout, be proud of the small achievements, because with time, they are the ones that made who you are today.
I am saying this, because it will make life easier and maybe by looking at the positive side of losing, you will learn to look at the positive sides of other aspects in life. However, sometimes there are people who will not like to lose, people that are not ready to change their mindset or just don’t know how and that’s not fun, but instead of getting annoyed, try your best to avoid conflict, because for this world to work, there is a moment where you have to accept it and be the bigger person. When you do this be proud of yourself, because it’s not easy. So, when there are people trying to put you down because you won, saying things like “I was supposed to win, this isn’t fair”, don’t respond the same way, say something like “don’t worry you will win next time”, try and cheer them up, they will be surprised, maybe you could motivate them to work harder, teach them how to get better or show them how to look for the positive side of losing. Maybe it’s not what you want to do and maybe it’s not fair, but doing the right thing isn’t always easy.
Here are a couple quotes:
“I never lose, I either win or learn.” (By Nelson Mandela)
“Winners Are Not Those Who Never Fail, But Those Who Never Quit” (By Edwin Louis Cole)
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed today’s post and learned something new. Let me know how it goes, I promise you that looking at the positive side of things can change your day. Please share this message with other people and help others create a better life or even better, next time you lose, show them how it's done.
What do you think of the new design?
As always,
Remember, Be You.
