Do you feel like your life Is going down hill?
Do you feel like everything is against you? Do you feel like you're drowning in the deep of the sea? Do you just want to be eaten by the earth's soil?
Well stop right there, yes life is tough, yes life is unfair, but is feeling like this worth it? NO! It's not, get up again! You are not getting any where, you're not helping yourself. We are going to find ourselves in certain situations that we might not like. Don't concentrate on the bad of the situations, but on the good. Look back at what happened and learn something, did you make a mistake? Learn from it. Is there something you want to change? Do it. If we didn't go through hard times, if we didn't learn from our mistakes, then how would we learn? That is the positive of this, learn so you don't repeat the same thing.
The quote "difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations" (author unknown), is key. For example, your car stops in the middle of nowhere and you are panicking, and then suddenly someone stops and helps you start your car. Then you end up in a coffee shop together talking about life and exchange numbers, after some time you become best friends. If your car hadn't stopped you wouldn't have met that person.
Everyone at a point of their life wishes things would be perfect. Personally I think there is two ways at looking at that. One, perfect doesn't exist or two, everything is perfect. You might be thinking "that doesn't make sense, that can't be" Well it can be. Let me explain, it is only your choice how you want to look at, everyone has flaws in their appearance, but are they really flaws? Not really, because everyone has flaws and it’s part of who we are, we are perfect with our flaws. The same thing counts for problems or mistakes, everyone has them.
When we are scrolling through someone's Instagram, that has their feed totally planned out, the pictures are perfect not one flaw is seen, it only looks like they are having fun and traveling all the time, well… that’s not how life is, would you post a photo of you crying? At least I wouldn’t, social media is made to post the fun things in life, the time you spend time with your family and friends and show it to other people, connect and communicate with other people through other medias. We are all going through something, so next time instead of making yourself sad think, ‘’Everything is perfect, I am perfect.’’
Life wouldn’t be life without the tough, and without the tough there is no beauty. It’s like day and night, ‘’without darkness, there is no light.’’
I hope you learned something from this and have a good day!
How are you going to change the way you look at problems, so you can get up again easier?
Remember, BE YOU. Naia :)
