Art is everywhere:

What is art?

Is it just a painting? Is it the roads we walk on? Photography? Books? Clothes? Words? Could it even be a lamp?

For me art is, the objects that surround us, the photographs we see on instagram, the paintings we see in museums, the music we hear in the car when hours of traffic await us. Art is simply a way of expressing ourselves in different ways, it’s like languages, every type of art is a different language.

Many people might think it is only paintings,but it’s not. Even though you don’t realise it, art is everywhere. The supermarket sign could have been done by a famous Graphic Designer, or the pattern on your bed sheets by a famous painter. Sports like dancing is a way to express ourselves with our body, even football could be art if you think about it (hehehe ok maybe not, I guess I got a little carried away there).

When reading this you might be thinking ‘’ oh, ok wow! There are many types of artists cool!.’’ However, that is not what I am trying to say, what I am saying is that we are all artists, and if the case is that you don’t paint or take photos, you might be thinking ‘’Wait, WHAT!?’’ Yes we are all artists, ‘’Artists of LIFE’’ (quote take from The Lavandaire Lifestyle podcast), the way we speak, our school essays or work mails, the dinner we cook, the way we create the life we want to live, pretty much EVERYTHING!

The world is art, we just have to take a closer look at things, if you don’t you are missing out on a lot! So start analysing what you see and think of what message you can get from it, maybe you could even create a story about how you thought your coffee cup was made, I know I am CRAZY!!!
